I decided to publish a new version of a small program that can be useful to some users. Specifically, it is useful to those who want to measure the download speed of their operating system, this is what the development is doing, to whom it is interesting, I suggest downloading BootRacer from our project, go for this in full news and there as always we press where necessary. To measure the time, the program will start from the moment of logging on, that is, when entering a password, selecting a user or simply a welcome screen. It does this every time, therefore, after using optimizing utilities, you can clearly see if Windows is starting to boot faster or it's just an illusion.
separately I want to write about the design of BootRacer, or rather interface. In fact, what you see on the second screenshot and have everything you need to know. Run the program, click on the clock, you will be asked to restart the computer immediately to determine the time or not, press and wait for the result. You can simply activate the program and do not reboot the system forcibly, BootRacer will wait for you to do it yourself for some reason and after that will give you time. The program records all the results in a special magazine, which is always available to you. can work on both the Administrator account and the normal user, it is very easy to use and almost does not require any settings, so BootRacer does not require money from you, unless, of course, for personal use you intend to use it.
The developers write that if BootRacer gives you less than a minute, then in fact you have an excellent result, it seems to me that in fact it is not very fast, although it may just be fastidious. The official site says that the program will work only if you use the standard Windows Explorer shell, so if you use any third-party shells, you can disable them.
